Strangers and Neighbors

Daily drawing has been a habit of mine for many years. It’s a way to scratch out quick ideas, or train my eye with a still life or sketches of strangers and neighbors I encounter throughout the day. These paintings began as a way to expand upon these drawings, elevating quick studies and portraits exploring the immediacy of an emotionally impactful line that is succinct and to the point.
