Bicameral Obfuscations

These paintings begin with drawings of people, places or things. Exploring sites histories that are simultaneously in plain site and invisible. Sites of hidden desires, obscured through layering and erasure leading to an abstracted trace of what is there. This work began initially in a series of prints and collage, and expanded into an ongoing series of diptychs and assemblages that continue to unfold.
