Fantabulosas 8 January 2026 (Renee Nicole Good)

Collage, digital color print, 13 x 19 inches

Wednesday, Renee Nicole Good was in Minneapolis with her wife, their small son, and their dog. They were in a car.

The world is a vampire. We are governed by vulgarians.

Renee Nicole Good, thirty-seven years old, unarmed, a mother, a lesbian, a citizen of the United States of America was shot in the head three times by agents of the government as she sat in that car. Her wife and dog beside her, her son, her family, this world left behind.

As she bled, dying, the agents who shot her refused passage to a doctor, refused an ambulance.

This is how the state speaks. We are governed by monsters.
