For this exhibition she has created United, a t-shirt collection that features a recombinant poem. The words printed on the shirts form two-part verses of a poem, and are meant to be worn by two people, standing side by side.
My Cup Runneth Over
Installation shot of My Cup Runneth Over, an exploration of brokenness and repair through the form of Raku ceramic forms cracked, repaired with gold (Kintsugi) and embellished with glaze, enamel, plastics, gold, glitter and grit.

Mila
Mila earrings - Full Moon (white), 2021, an edition of 10. PLA (polylactide) bioplastic sourced from corn, sterling-silver plated zinc, hypoallergenic titanium, clear plastic. 2.75”L x 1.6”W (each earring), by Aya Natalia Karpińska
Aya explores the intersection of personal histories and craft with technology through a series of earrings named after her grandmother, Mila. Like many women in her generation, Mila was skilled in sewing, crochet, and embroidery. Aya celebrates this tradition by using 3D printing to “embroider” earrings based on a Polish folk pattern.
